Dragonfly offers a safe, eco-friendly, effective way to eliminate mosquitos on your property all season long. Our organic mosquito elimination process doesn't just repel mosquitos. It prevents them from hatching altogether.GET STARTED NOW
Mosquitos lay on average 200 eggs each in stagnant water (water that does not move). From these eggs, mosquito larvae hatch. The larvae live in the water for a short seven-day window. At the end of those seven days, the mosquitos go to the surface of the water and fly away fully ready to bite whomever comes in their path. From there, the cycle continues. The average female mosquito lays three more sets of eggs before it dies. Before you know it, 200 mosquitos become 40,000, then 8,000,000 and so on. Dragonfly prevents mosquitos from hatching in the first place, ending the lifecycle before they can multiply.
Our mosquito team arrives at your property early in the spring to seek out mosquito larvae within a quarter mile of the targeted area, which is the average distance mosquitos will travel after hatching.
We treat the larvae with a unique non-toxic, environmentally friendly solution that won't harm other organisms in the ecosystem. Our organic biological pesticide (which is a bacteria) is the preferred pesticide for the Minnesota DNR and is widely used throughout the state.
The bacteria are ingested by the mosquito larvae when they are growing in the water. The bacteria kill the larvae. Humans and other wildlife aren't affected by the bacteria. In a short period of time, the bacteria die, leaving no chemical or negative byproducts.
Throughout the mosquito season, we maintain a safe level of our organic solution in any standing water that accumulates in the treatment area, making your property uninhabitable for mosquitos to produce.
